If you have shopped on sale before, you already know the two things that decide whether a purchase works out: whether the machine is the right size for the rider, and whether you can still get parts for it in two years. We buy for both.
How to choose your on sale
Start with engine size and rider fit. Smaller displacement machines — roughly 40cc to 110cc — are built for younger riders, backyards and gentle trails, with speed limiters and low seat heights that make learning safe. Mid-range machines from 125cc to 200cc cover most teen and adult recreational riding and handle rougher ground without feeling strained. Above 200cc you are into two-seat go karts, full-size UTVs and adult trail machines that carry passengers, tow light loads and hold highway-adjacent speeds off road.
Next, match the machine to the ground you actually ride. Hardpack, grass and gravel favour a low-slung kart with a wide track and slick handling. Sand, ruts and rocky trail need real suspension travel, higher ground clearance and knobby tyres. If you ride with a passenger or haul gear, a two-seater or a UTV with a bed will make far more sense than a bigger single-seat machine.
Finally, think about transmission and drive. Fully automatic CVT machines let a new rider concentrate on throttle and brake, while manual and semi-automatic gearboxes give experienced riders control on steep ground. Shipping and delivery across the USA
Smaller items ship by parcel carrier; complete machines ship on a pallet by freight. Freight deliveries are curbside by default, so plan for two people and a way to move the crate off the truck, or ask us about lift-gate service when you order. Orders that clear before the daily cut-off are picked the same business day, and tracking is emailed the moment the label is scanned. Free shipping applies over $200 and standard shipping is a flat $350.
Inspect the crate before you sign for it. Note any visible damage on the delivery receipt and photograph it — that single step is what makes a freight claim quick instead of drawn out. In the rare case something arrives damaged, contact us with the photos and we will handle the replacement parts.
Assembly and first ride on your new on sale
Machines arrive mostly assembled. Typical final assembly means fitting handlebars or a steering wheel, wheels, mirrors, seats or a roll cage, adding oil and fuel, and torquing the hardware. Allow an hour or two with basic hand tools and follow the manual in the crate. Before the first start, check oil level, tyre pressure, brake travel, throttle return and chain tension.
Break the engine in gently. Vary the throttle for the first few tanks rather than holding it wide open, let it cool between runs, and change the oil at the end of break-in. Re-torque the wheel nuts and axle hardware after the first hour of riding — new machines settle, and a bolt that was tight in the crate can loosen on the first outing.
Keeping your on sale running
These are simple machines that reward simple care. Clean the air filter after dusty rides, keep the chain lubricated and correctly tensioned, check tyre pressures before every outing, and change the oil on schedule. Use fresh fuel — stale gasoline gumming a carburettor is far and away the most common reason a machine will not start in spring. If it is going into storage, either add stabiliser or drain the carburettor bowl, and put the battery on a maintainer.

Safety, age guidance and where you can ride
Every rider should wear a DOT-approved helmet, eye protection, gloves, long sleeves and over-the-ankle boots. Match the machine to the rider rather than buying big and hoping they grow into it, and supervise younger riders every time. Most of these machines are built for off-road use on private property or designated trails — street legality varies by state and model, and OHV registration or a trail permit may be required. Check your state DMV or land-management agency before you ride anywhere public.
Prices and what your on sale really costs
The price shown on every on sale listing is what you pay — no membership tier, no dealer prep fee, no surprise charge at the end. Where budgets get missed is in the extras: helmets and gear for each rider, a fuel can and stabiliser, a spare chain and tyre, and a basic tool kit. Adding those to the order up front is cheaper than sourcing them one at a time later, and it usually pushes the order past the free-shipping threshold anyway.
It is also worth thinking about running cost rather than sticker price. A machine with commonly available parts, a simple carburetted engine and a chain drive costs very little to keep on the trail. A cheaper machine nobody stocks parts for becomes scrap the first time something breaks. That is the whole reason we keep our line-up narrow and our parts shelf deep.
